Hora is the capital and main of the island. You can find very good facilities and services, as well as interesting architectural and historic features and sightseeings of different eras like Portara (ancient monument), a venetian castle, the well-known Archaelogical Museum of Naxos and many old chapels, some of them dating back in the post-byzantine period.
