Mikri Vigla is located in the western coast of the island, 16.5 km south of Hora. The name “Mikri Vigla” (meaning in Greek “small lookout”) is due to its past use as an observation point for pirates. The beach is excellent and well organized, with facilities for swimming sunbathing and sea sports, above all wind surfing, as the place is ideal for this sport.
